**Our mission is to help foster a greater appreciation and love for our natural world; to help people re-connect with nature through our photography as well as through guided nature immersion walks, or what I like to refer to as Shinrin - Yoku prairie style.
Nature Immersion Walks are $20.00 per person.
A Nature Immersion Walk is not your everyday walk in nature; it is meant to slow us down, quiet our minds and to focus our awareness on nature’s wonders; they are intended to help us mindfully reconnect with our natural world. These are slow paced and gentle walks covering less than 1 km.
As your guide I will lead you in a number of enjoyable and relaxing activities that will help you tap into natures many healing powers. You will find these walks beneficial to your overall well-being; on both an emotional and physical level.
The benefits achieved from Nature Immersion walks are much the same as those found in the practise of Shinrin - Yoku (Forest Bathing); some of the most highly touted benefits being:
Boosted immune system; Reduced blood pressure; Reduced stress; Improved mood; Increased ability to focus; Increased vitality and energy levels as well as improved sleep.
